A woman meets an intriguing, shadowy stranger at a bar. They head back to his place to keep the fun going, but his intentions may not be so pure. I don’t want to give away the ending, but let’s just say she wakes up a little different the next morning. (insert evil laugh)
Therefore Productions presents our take on a classic urban legend in a promotional piece for Sparks Hair Design. Full credits after the jump.
Last weekend we shot a music video for our friends the Reformed Whores and their song “Punch Me In the Face”. We’d like to send a big thanks to everyone who worked on the shoot. It was an awesome time, and the footage looks fantastic. While we’re busy editing, why not take a look at some behind the scenes photos from the shoot? And you can listen to the song after the jump.
We’re back in the office and wanted to share an update with you about a project we finished up at the end of February. Our friends at Crewcuts called us in to help produce a web video with BBDO for the GE Ecomagination campaign, and we couldn’t be more proud of the entire team for coming together to assemble this. Congratulations all! Check out this instructional dance video to learn how to “Get in Step” with GE’s Ecomagination Line Dance. Production Photos after the jump.
Therefore Productions just finished up a commercial shoot for Sparks Hair Design. We had a lot of fun, and the footage looks awesome. A big thanks to the cast and crew of the shoot for their fantastic work. While we finish the edit, check out some behind the scenes photos, featuring no less than one Patrick Brady in a cast iron tub covered in packing peanuts.
Shots! Break dancing! Videos! That’s how Therefore rolls at weddings. Our very own Bill Bodkin is now married to the equally awesome Sue Rowley, and the wedding reception was an epic tale of partying in the first degree. Of course, we pulled out all the stops to make a video for their wedding: a testament to their love that’s set to Lady Gaga and Journey. It tells the story of how they met and their first date, at least how Therefore Productions remembers it. And we weren’t there, so I think we know what we’re talking about. Congratulations to Sue and Bill! We love you guys soooooo hard.
We recently updated our company site, ThereforeProductions.com, as part of our big 2010 push. The site was totally rebuilt with some state-of-the-art technology from the 1970′s: the Dragon-Drop 2000XL. Found only in the finest of poorly-funded public libraries, the Dragon-Drop lets you relive the microfiche and microfilm glory days of information technology, when we didn’t need to find things “quickly”. It’s like writing a grade school book report! What fun! Just be careful where you click, or Ruth Marx will get you.
With budgets slashed in the economic recession, advertisers experimented with new ways to get more value in the same amount of ad time. Thus, the multiproduct commercial was born. Despite enthusiasm for this bold new experiment in synergistic adver-conglomeration, the format proved disastrous. Viewers described it as “impossible to follow,” and experienced side effects including dizziness, nausea, and occasional madness. The multiproduct commercial was never aired.
