Love hurts, but the Reformed Whores take it all in stride. Will they find romance on a desert plain?  Therefore Productions continues to work busily during the summer months. Here are the on-set stills from the music video for “Out of Sight” that we shot on spec with director Camiren Romero.  Close out your Napster right now because I’ve got the aural journey of the summer mapped out for you right here.  You may have heard that Victor (Vick Dang) and Allyson (Rollerson) got married. To commemorate the event, we made a video and played it at their reception. We hope Pomplamoose doesn’t mind us using their song for love. The moving faces at the end of the video are (in order of appearance) Victor’s sister, I’ll admit, when I first saw the post about this on Boing! Boing! I was skeptical. I’m so happy to say that my expectations were totally, 100% blown out of the water. Prepare to be amazed. (deep breath) AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! If it turns out this I posted about this a while ago, but devoted coffee fiends and class-A rock stars They Might be Giants have been writing neat little songs for Dunkin Donuts’ “America Runs on Dunkin” ad campaign. I saw this on on the DD site today, which reminded me of how much I love TMBG and coffee.
For a mere $75 dollars, I am going to see five brand new, world class productions during the 2008-2009 theater season in New York. I am going to witness first hand the unveiling of set designs from some of Broadway’s top artists; I am going to revel in the magic of watching some of the greatest performers on the planet bring down the house; I am going to see classical masterpieces and modern game changers. And where am I going to be able to do all of this for a mere $75?

Hello All! It’s spring concert time! I’ll be joining the musical stylings of the Hunter College Community Choir on Monday, May 12 for their presentation of Hayden’s Missa in tempore belli (Mass in Time of War), and Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus (which is just the loveliest little piece you’ve ever heard). It should be a hopping good time, in a classical music kind of way. Why is Napolen looming over Hayden?? Learn, AFTER THE JUMP!
And another talented female celebrity runs away with my heart. Feist appeared on The Colbert Report yesterday, and the dress from the “1,2,3,4″ video made a special appearance.
