Vickdang's Got Pacman Fever! (Warning: Image may give you nightmares)

pacmanFever

I looked into my mirror and both of my eyes had become the shape of Pacman’s body, while my own body’s skin tone was beginning to resemble the color of the sun.

Exciting News!

Attention Thereforeyou Universe!

Therefore Productions is going back into production! That’s right, this Saturday the crew will be returning to New Jersey to shoot an exciting new project!

Therefore Had A Photo Shoot and Got Superpowers

therefore-heroes

therefore-heroes

Our power is to look really dramatic in front of a steaming pile of rubble on a stormy day. There’s no particular order to the grouping, except that we’re alphabetical by first name from left to right. Also Ed is holding a sword, which automatically moves you to the front. We really did have a photo shoot not too long ago, but not for the sole purpose of parodying Heroes. Click the image if you want to see the full size version. You can also see the original Heroes wallpaper I based it on after the break, which is a pretty good model for way too dramatic photography and graphic design.

New Film Permit Regulations in NYC

***

A quick note to all you filmmakers out there!

The Mayor’s Office has finally formalized the film permit regulations for the city of New York.

For those of you keep score, the last time they tried this they ended up with regulations that would require even tourists taking pictures to apply for a permit.

A quick rundown of the new regulations, and an explanation of the top photo, after the jump.

Classical Music is AWESOME (if you know the context)!!!

Napoleon Hayden

Hello All! It’s spring concert time!

It should be a hopping good time, in a classical music kind of way.

Why is Napolen looming over Hayden?? Learn, AFTER THE JUMP!

What Credibility?

Not Credible

I stumbled across this article yesterday, in the New York (Freaking) Times no less, which tackles the question of whether the slip up by the ever befuddled Paula Abdul on a recent broadcast of the massively popular American Idol has damaged the program’s credibility. In case you’ve remained blissfully unaware of the hoopla, here’s what transpired:

Welcome Back 30 Rock

And what a great episode to come back with. MILF Island, fart machines, a really weird Cathy impersonation; this was a loaded show. If you didn’t watch last night, it’s already up on the NBC.com player. Congrats guys! Now keep em’ coming.

Blu-Ray Wins the Format War

Well the format war is officially over. Personally I’m glad they’ve decided to stick with Blu-Ray as I’ve been very impressed with the features and quality of the Blu-Ray movies. Here’s the official word from IMDB:

Toshiba today (Tuesday) formally announced the death of HD DVD, thereby ending its two-year-long battle with Sony

And So it Ends

There’s a great wrap up article about the Writers’ Guild strike on Salon.com that puts the strike in a historical context. The article gives a brief history of the guild, including the darker blacklisting days, but, more importantly, it talks about the strikes in 1985 and 1988 over VHS. Those strikes really set
