One of the founding fathers of Therefore Productions, Andrew Hymas is an Emmy award-winning writer and producer. He graduated from Boston College with a degree in film and video production, then immediately jumped into the field at Tapestry International, where he wrote and produced projects for educational and documentary television series, including the Discovery Channel’s Assignment Discovery.
In 2007, Andrew won an Emmy Award for his work on Greatest Inventions with Bill Nye. Most recently, he performed freelance work for the HBO documentary By the People: The Election of Barack Obama and at the political news site Talking Points Memo. Andrew’s roles at Therefore include writer, editor and director. He is currently our reigning champion at “Barnacle Bill’s Mini Golf” and enjoys eating apples and watching Pixar films.
